About
Tyaga.org was established to promote accountable self-regulation. It hopes to do so by developing and providing open-source tools to support the implementions of OCAUP/Reporting standards for independent currency brands (ICBs).
Tyaga.org was also conceived as a prototype of a currency brand that seeks widepsread market acceptance through entity transparency, information traceability, and economic noncooperation. It is an ongoing experiment to answer the question: what would it take to establish a currency brand in a satconomy implementation?

Not-so-brief description from an older post:
Tyaga.org was established to develop the essential tools to support independent currency issuers. Tyaga focuses on the development of information systems that:
- Support a market entity in issuing and managing its currency brand.
- Provide reliable and up-to-date information to market participants for assessing the reputation of a currency brand
- Facilitate online and offline market transactions between independent currency brands
It is likely that the tools and protocols here will be useful in other currency frameworks, and vice-versa. Although the intent is to develop platform-agnostic tools, tyaga favors certain philosophical approaches on how such tools should be used, such as for promoting the principles explained in satconomy.org.
