Contributor Horoscope

Testing The simplest contribution you could make is to try out the demo. If you like, please register your blog or domain as a currency activity 'publisher' and provide feedback on what works, what doesn't, what's missing, etc. No software installation is required - you will simply expose transaction data using blog posts, record log entries, etc. To register, please announce your blog or domain at Prowl-User's discussion group and state the accounting units and model that you wish to try. Open registration will be supported once standards have been sufficiently discussed and more features have been tested.
Speed If you value speed above everything else, you might like developing the Observer features of a Reporter application, where system responsiveness will be critical for on-demand witnessing of real-time transactions performed through the web, email and/or SMS.
Details You might enjoy developing Auditor features, where the comprehensiveness of a Reporter's verification will be valued in reconciliations and authenticity checks.
Graphics You might like coding Evaluator metric formulas and graphing datapoints accurately to the closest pixel. The goal is to increase the "decisiveness" of presented information.
Semantics You might enjoy nit-picking and refining the Prowl dictionary definitions. This will include specifying keywords and parameters that might be applicable to one or more accounting models.
Protocol Help define the most appropriate Reporter service requests submitted as HTTP, SMTP or SMS queries, perhaps changing to a more-REST based syntax, and specifying standard reporter behavior for a consistent user experience.
Accounting Models Feel free to advise on what to avoid when defining accounting models, terminologies and calculation formulas. You will also advise on potential tax consequences.
Metrics Please contributes towards towards definitions or formulas for fairness, self-regulation and market demand metrics within an operative Prowl market.
